Wordless Wednesday: They Ate It

My dogs learned how to climb on the table. They chewed up the paper my doctor wrote what blood tests I needed on.

They climbed the table and didn't go after the bowl of dog food!!! Now I have to go to the doctor and give the whole "my dog ate my blood test paper" excuse. Oh, and some good news... the doctor said my Lupus is in remission. Woot woot. (That's why there's a Lupus thing in the "related articles" section. It's linked to my Lupus blog.)

    1. I was so mad and I couldn't figure out which one of the two dogs did it so I had to just fume to myself.

I'm glad I reminded my mom to dog-proof her house when we come over on Thanksgiving. These two are trouble.

    1. I always thought that "The dog ate my homework" was just something silly someone made up. I didn't realize some dogs might enjoy eating paper.

It is a bit funny now that I've finished cleaning up the bits of paper sprinkled around the house.

  4. So glad your lupus is in remission! That's wonderful news! How funny that they ate the paper but not the food! Good luck with all your tests!

    1. Thank you. It's great news. I have a feeling the tests will go great since I aced everything else.

These dogs are strange. They prefer to eat forbidden things over boring old dinner. But they'll gladly eat each other's food.

  5. Many years ago I worked at the tax office. There we received half a tax return where on there was written: Eaten by a dog. LoL

    1. I think getting tax papers eaten beats blood test paper. :) I bet you saw a lot of interesting things at that job.

  6. That's fantastic news (about the Lupus, not the dogs learning to get on the table!) We have a lot of family and a few friends affected by Lupus. And we are affected by a dachshund who climbs on the table- always for food, though. Amelia ad Leo are the ones who eat papers!

    1. Thank you so much. It has been a LONG journey. I'm sorry to hear that you know even one person with Lupus. It is not a fun disease. I hope they are all healthy and doing well.

I swear dogs enjoy getting in trouble and sometimes do it just for the fun of it. Or food. Dogs can be bottomless pits.
